BIOGRAPHY
MARINE ECKERT
Marine Eckert is a Swiss pianist and vocal coach who is passionate about bringing her cultural heritage into her coaching, enriching each learning and collaborative experience with a multilingual and internationally minded perspective.
She will spend her 2026-27 season with Utah Opera as a Resident Artist where she will be rehearsal pianist for Don Giovanni and chorus rehearsal pianist for Zorro, La Cenerentola, The (R)evolution of Steve Jobs. This upcoming summer, she will be joining Opera Neo as apprentice vocal coach and pianist for Fausto and Il Turco in Italia, while also appearing in recitals and events throughout the season.
During her 2025-26 season, Marine was a Jan Miller Studio Artist at Pensacola Opera, where she served as rehearsal pianist and vocal coach for Three Decembers, La Traviata and Oklahoma!, and as pianist and music director for the educational tour of Cinderella.
Marine was part of Music Staff at Canto Vocal Programs for Le nozze di Figaro during the summer of 2024 and for Les Contes d’Hoffmann in 2023.
Mrs. Eckert holds a Master of Music in Collaborative Piano and an Artist Diploma in Opera Coaching from the University of Cincinnati - College Conservatory of Music. During her time at CCM, she served as rehearsal pianist and vocal coach for A Midsummer Night’s Dream, La finta giardiniera, The Cunning Little Vixen and L’Amant Anonyme.
Originally from Geneva, Switzerland, she has worked in previous seasons for the Opéra de Lausanne in a series of outreach concerts and with the Haute École de Musique de Lausanne as vocal coach and collaborative pianist for its Opera Workshop.
In 2020, Marine was a coaching fellow at the prestigious Exzellenz-Labor Oper academy in Germany.
